a throw.

Every night after we've finished up dinner, G and I sit down on the sofa to chat, watch a movie, or read a book.  It's such a nice time of the evening to just relax and gear up for the following day.  Ummm and what's the first thing I do when I plop myself down?  I reach for a throw.  I'm all about pulling out my fave blanket.  I think any of the below would certainly be a nice little addition to my stockpile.  And most of them can double as beach blankets during the summer...double yay!

feather sale.

We are back from a fun filled family weekend.  My little niece and nephew let me smother them with hugs and kisses, so for me it was pretty much the best weekend ever.  I love family time!  And while in suburbia you know I had to make a run to the local Target.  I had already purchased a few of these feathers and just HAD to have a few more.  Ummmm they were a steal at $4 each (on sale)!  I plan on spray painting them to use as some home decor.  I have a slight feather addiction, so when I see one I can't really say no.

happy five years little home.

Today marks five years that we have lived here in our little home in San Francisco.  I still kind of can't believe that it's been that long.  When we moved here from San Diego I was beyond excited, and I have to say, that excitement hasn't faded throughout the years.  I truly love living here.  We've been lucky enough to have our home photographed twice over the past years.  A feature on The Collection, photographed by the amazing Edyta showing our home and my closet.  Then another feature on Glitter Guide photographed by the adorable Caroline (although it's not specifically about our house, there are many photos showing our artwork and little corners of our space that we love).  I can't thank these ladies enough for capturing our space so nicely.  They are photos that G and I will always love.  Oh and how can I not mention that once upon a time Rue Magazine's blog also wrote some super sweet words about our apartment.  Hey, we may only have 650 square feet of space, but I assure you that every square foot is filled with love (cheesy, I know, but so true).  And I have to give a huge shout out to my husband G who also has an eye for interior design and pretty much lets me do anything I want in our home no matter how crazy it might sound at first.

gifts.

Yesterday my friend and I were chatting about the perfect gift to bring over when visiting a friend.  These are some of my fave items that I believe would make the perfect little hostess gift.  Ohhhhhhh and I may already own that gold feather and can attest to it's awesomeness.

rugs.

One element of our dream home that I truly feel in love with, were those amazing rugs.  I went on a little search and found these bad boys.  Moroccan inspired, colorful, bohemian...I'll take one of each please.

dream home.

When can my husband and I move in?  Seriously!  Wow, these images are blowing my mind.  The all-white walls and floors, contrasted by the color explosions in the form of art, rugs, lighting & accessories.  I can't get enough.
