Well, the temps are arising and I'm ready to finally bust out some of my summer gear. I've been partial to one-pieces this year, and I think this little beauty may need to join my growing collection. It's definitely time to hit the beach, pool, or lake with these summer essentials.
YAY, it's officially summer! It's sunny out today and all I feel like doing is taking a good book outside to soak it all in. Any fun Friday plans for you? G and I plan on spending the rest of the weekend just hanging. We don't have any plans for Saturday, which I can hardly believe, but I am trying to embrace a bit of non-planning (well, at least try to embrace it as much as I can. I am a planner at heart). Here's to a dreamy weekend.

Summer means lots and lots of gatherings with friends + family...friends + family who actually have some outdoor space. ha! I love getting together for potluck style dinners in the early summer evening hours. This year I want to try out some yummy fresh salads and these two are high on my list. This tomato and watermelon salad looks so refreshing. This mexican corn salad already has my mouth watering. yum!

With summer quickly approaching I feel like it's time to bust out some yummy drinks to accompany the warmer days. I mean, I do have my dollar tree gold rimmed glasses that are just begging for a fun fruity drink. Hmmmmmm, now where oh where do I start? That lavender collins looks ah-maz-ing!
Hope everyone enjoys their Fourth of July. My husband and I are taking the rest of the week off to relax and spend some time together. I'm so excited! Leaving you with some sparkly goodness that reminds me of this amazing holiday.

Obviously from the past two posts (here and here), it is apparent that I'm day dreaming about taking a little vacation poolside. I'm itching to get back to Palm Springs! I'd love to be there lounging out in this cute suit, this hat, with a little drink and my hubby by my side.

Wow, what an amazing weekend. I had such a blast styling a photo shoot with Taylor for an upcoming Glitter Guide feature. It was truly so much fun and I can't wait to share the pics. While at the shoot, we all had some fun trying on each other's sunglasses. We passed around my Karen Walkers (which I am completely obsessed with) & Taylor's House of Harlow cuties. Eeeekkkk, I might just need to add those black enlarged cateye sunnies to my collection.
I'm pretty sure I need this suit, and I need it right now! I'm more then slightly obsessed. THAT pattern...THAT style...yes yes yes! Hope you have a great weekend. I'll be right here day dreaming about making that Mara Hoffman number mine.
