my wedding dress.

Every year on our anniversary I wear my wedding dress out to dinner.  It is so.much.fun to be able to wear my dress over and over again.  I'm super happy that I decided to go with a short dress so that I can sport it out without a second glance from anyone.  I wish all of my girlfriends and I could host a garden party so they too could wear their wedding dresses out again one more time.  I swear, it totally takes you back to that moment where you marry your love...and what an amazing moment that was and will always be.  So, here are pics of our anniversary nights throughout the years (and please forgive the phone pics).

three.

Today marks three years of marriage (and 13 years together...wowza)!  I seriously can't believe I ended up with this guy.  It's hard for me to write in words how very much he means to me.  The last three years have brought some rough times our way, but also some of the most incredibly amazing times of our lives.  He is beloved by all, especially my family who is constantly talking about how sweet and wonderful he is (uhhhhhh hello, I used to be the nice one in my family, but apparently that title now lies with my hubby).  G, love you, love your show!

overall.

Would you ever wear overalls past the age of say 6?  I'm loving this look on other gals, but still not quite sure if I can pull it off.  My friend Emily can definitely rock a pair and looks dang good while doing it.  I'm still on the fence about whether or not I will be sporting a pair in the near future.  I'll keep ya posted.

natural beauty.

This Dove video has been making it's way across the internet and I just felt like I had to share it here too.  Such a powerful statement about women and the way we see ourselves versus the way we are seen by others.  Love how it reminds us to appreciate our natural beauty.  Happy Friday.

high heeled.

I'm not much of a high heeled girl for my daytime look, but when it comes to going out to dinner I love to throw on a pair of heels.  I mean, riding the bus and hiking up & down the hills of the city make it a bit inconvenient to be wearing stilettos, but come nighttime that all changes.  Ummm especially if it means a dinner where I'll be spending most of the evening sitting.  ha!  I love these laced up pretties from Zara and might just snag them up this weekend.

coaster gems.

The hubs came home the other day with these beauties.  I mean, are you kidding?  We had talked about needing some new coasters for awhile, but I hadn't really found any that I liked.  So he not only ventured into Anthro alone, but also picked out the most gorgeous little guys I've ever seen.  Uh yay, he's pretty much amazing!

lots of love.

Just a simple note to say that my heart and thoughts are with the people of Boston today.  Much love being sent your way.

tabletop.

Good morning Monday.  Wow, what a weekend it was.  I seriously can't thank the girls of Enjoy Events enough for having me be a part of their workshop.  I had a blast turning this inspiration board into a table setting.  I loved meeting all of the participants and sharing a few budget friendly diy projects that I made.  So, here are some iPhone pics I snapped of the table.  I'll be back later this week to dive into a few of the diy goodies too.

worky workshop.

Happy happy happy Friday!  I am so excited to share that this Sunday I will be chatting about styling a tabletop at the rad workshop that the Enjoy Events girls are hosting.  Yipppeeeeee!  I can't wait to meet everyone.  And in the meantime, here's a sneak of the little inspiration board I put together for the table I'm styling up.
